GOD'S HIGH COMMAND
END TIME ARMY

The first mention of the word "highest" is found in Psalm 18:13. "The Lord also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave His voice." The next reference is Psalm 87:5. "And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the HIGHEST HIMSELF shall establish her."

At the very inception of the Great Controversy between Christ and Satan we read that Lucifer (now Satan) desired to be "like the most high." Isa. 14:14.

Mary, the mother of Jesus, was told by the angel that she would "bring forth a son, and shalt call His name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David...and of his kingdom there shall be no end." Luke 1:31-33. And then the very night Jesus was born the angels sang praises to God saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." Lk 2:14.

At the very beginning of Christ's ministry He talked openly about becoming "children of the Highest," a direct reference to His heavenly Father. Luke 6:35. Not very many were interested though because Jesus told them the path to the throne was by loving your enemies and being kind to the unthankful and evil...i.e. to always be merciful to everyone.

In the book of Hebrews Paul refers to Melchisedec, who was "king of Salem, priest of the most high God," who had appeared to Abraham and became a type or example of Christ's ministry in the heavenly sanctuary as our great high priest. The word "high" is mentioned many times in Hebrews in reference to Christ's work in the Most Holy place of the heavenly sanctuary.

In I John 3:1-3 the beloved apostle refers to those who believe in Jesus as "sons of God" who will become like Him when He shall appear (second coming) at the end of our age. Then in Rev. 3:7-10 John reveals that the only perfect and mature church of the seven is the Church of Philadelphia who will be given the "Key of David." This church also stands up for God's name or character and receives so much power from on high that even the Synagogue of Satan will bow down before them, acknowledging that God has loved them. They will also be kept or saved from the final "Hour of Temptation" which is to try the whole earth. In Matt. 13:43 Jesus predicted that "the righteous" would "shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father." This means they will be translated and have immortal bodies like Jesus had after the resurrection. See Phil 3:20, 21 & I Cor. 15:51...The "Last Trump" is the 7th Trumpet of Rev. 11:15 at which time the first phase of the Harvest of human beings begins and the first phase of the resurrection of the dead begins as well.

Paul also admonishes us to have the same mind or attitude or spirit of Christ who was willing to humble Himself to the death of the cross. "Wherefore, God also has highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name." Phil 2:9. Those who are willing to take up their cross and follow Jesus all the way will also receive a crown of glory and reign with Him on high during the 1,000 years and later on earth.

John saw in vision God's High Command Army. "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon Him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He does judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire and on His head were many crowns;...and the armies of which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron." Cf Psalm 2:8-12. Read also Joel 2 where it says that "Before their face (this high command army) the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness." Joel 2:6 .

This army will come forth and be formed by God Himself at the time of the "Manifestation of the Sons of God." Rom 8:19, 20. The book of Revelation was written for our day, especially for and about the last seven years of this earth's history. Many people believe in a "Secret Rapture." This phrase is not found in the Bible. And those who teach this theory have no idea of God's purpose for taking people up to heaven. Their belief is that they are taken up to heaven to spend eternity with God and the angels playing a harp. They know not the Scriptures nor the power of God. The Lord is going to raise up a mighty army of men and women who will prophesy against the New World Order, which is the Synagogue of Satan. They will do this for 3 ? years, Rev. 11:1-7. First in a body of Flesh just as Jesus did for 3 1/2 years. This is not just two people like Elijah and Moses. These Two Witnesses represent the same group as the Church of Philadelphia, the Mature Church and the Sons of God of Rom. 8:19, 20. These Two Witnesses are the same as the "Elect." Matt. 24:24. This group is represented by the Stone that is cut out of the Mountain without hands. They are going to be God's Jewels, Mal. 3:16-18, yes, even His Special Treasure who will discern between the righteous and the wicked, the wise and the foolish virgins.

  6. Manifestation of the Sons of God. Rom. 8:19.
  7. The Elect. Matt. 24:22.
  8. The Generation to come, the People yet to be created. Psalm 102:18.
  9. The Coming generation, The people who will be born. Psalm 22:30, 31.
  10. The perfection of beauty. Psalm 50:2.
  11. The People who know the joyful sound. Psalm 89:15.
  12. Thy Mighty Ones. Joel 3:11.
  13. The White horse of Rev. 19:11; Zech. 10:3.
  14. The Sharp Sickle. Rev. 14:14; Joel 13:13. Isa. 41:15; Jer. 51:20.
  15. The Branch 23:5, 6; Zech. 3:8, 9.
  16. A Barley Cake or Loaf. Judges 7:13-15; Ruth.

The above titles do not apply to the 144,000 because they are still sleeping. All these designations are descriptions of the many aspects of the "Watchmen on the walls of Zion," who are not sleeping. The Ten Sleeping Virgins of Matt. 25 wake up at the midnight hour, when they hear the cry go forth, "The Bridegroom is coming." But only five have the extra oil to light their path to the Father's house.

The five wise virgins will become the 144,000. They are pictured as standing on Mt. Zion with the Father's name in their foreheads singing a new song. What is this new song? Well, the fact that it is "new" means that there was an "old song." And the 144,000 have to learn this song which means they did not know it. So, who is teaching it to them? The ones who know it, who are this special group...this "High Command Army" or the "Watchmen on the Walls of Zion" who are not asleep. They are the ones who cry out, "Behold the Bridegroom is coming," and thus wake up the Ten Virgins, five of whom become the 144,000, who had fallen asleep waiting for the Bridegroom. They are the ones who will be translated in the first wave of the harvest...the first phase of the harvest cycle, the Barley. See Judges 7 and Ruth 1:22; 2:23; Judges 7:13, 14. The wheat follow who will be the 144,000. They are the wheat or the richest part of the harvest. But the Second Coming of Christ begins with the Barley Harvest, a most insignificant and small grain. And so this army will be composed of those who are not thought of as being anyone important in the eyes of the world.

Read Rev. 6:12-17 and you will see that traditionally this has been thought of as the end of the world. But in reality it is the beginning of the harvest...the forming of God's end time "High Command Army." Would you like to be a part of this army? The Lord is recruiting people right now to serve in this army. Beloved, our Lord is never on the defensive. No, He is always on the offensive. While the fearful and proud will be hiding out in the mountains and crying for the rocks to fall upon them God's army will be translated up to the Throne of God to receive their Divine commission, Dan. 7:13, 14. They will be given gifts and powers just as Jesus received at the time of His baptism. They will be able to speak in all the languages of the world and to travel by thought vibration. They will need no passports or cars to travel in for they will move from one place to another at the speed of thought. Their faces will shine like the sun, Matt. 13:43 and no one will be able to stop them. They are God's "High Command," army who will be involved in the first phase of the transfer of power...they are the "Christos" (Christ) of Rev. 11:15 and 12:10.

A mighty shout of victory will be heard in heaven as they say, "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever." Read Dan. 11:44, 45 where Satan will "come to his end and none shall help him." This is triggered by the Good News (bad news to Satan) that God's High Command Army has been formed.

So, then this little army will go up to the throne of God, just like Jesus did on Sunday morning, and then He came back down and took 40 days to select 108 more disciples until He had 120 in the upper room. These are types and today this High Command Army is the anti-type or the fulfillment of the proto-type. A type is just an example.
